Hello, I am Celal Savur

Machine Learning, Robotics Researcher

I am working on a human-robot collaboration (HRC) to improve human safety and increase productivity by monitoring human physiological signals. Developing machine learning and AI algorithms that understand the anomaly and learn from the time series signals is part of my research. Experiment design, data collection (ECG, GSR, EEG, PPG, and Pupil dilation), signal processing, and training machine learning (classical/deep learning) are crucial steps in the research. I have working experience in developing AI software and algorithms for high-end hardware such as NVIDIA Titan X and cloud-based GPU farms (Google and Amazon AWS) in both embedded and various PC operating systems including Robot Operating System (ROS). In addition, I am a researcher in NIH-funded projects that work on detecting atrial fibrillation using a smartphone camera.
